April 2009 saw the release of ‘Julie Ocean’ b/w ‘Kiss In The Dark’ and a live version of ‘Julie Ocean’ recorded at Sheffield University in 1982

March 2009 saw the release of ‘It’s Going To Happen’ b/w ‘Fairly In The Money Now’ along with ‘It’s Going To Happen’ from the Hammersmith Palais show of 24th May 1981.

February 2009’s release was ‘Wednesday Week’ b/w ‘Told You So’ along with the original video of ‘Wednesday Week’ and a live version recorded in 1980 at Great Advent, New Jersey USA.

January 2009’s release was ‘My Perfect Cousin’ b/w ‘Hard Luck (Again)’ / ‘I Don’t Wanna See (You Again)’ along with a verson recorded in 1981 on the UK Positive Touch tour.


November 2008’s release was ‘Here Comes The Summer’ b/w ‘One Way Love’ and ‘Top Twenty’ along with a version recorded in 1980 at the Whiskey A Go-Go in Los Angeles.



August 2008 saw a 30th anniversary digital only release of the original Teenage Kicks EP plus a previously unreleased live version (from 1980, recorded in New Jersey, USA) along with the original promotional video.

I’d stress that it is NOT the full Undertones line up, but John, Damian and Paul from the band with a luxury assortment of acoustic versions of Undertones classics and a sprinkling of delicious and surprising treats from the sweet shop of rock and roll. Cover versions, in other words. And that the rehearsals are so far sounding splendid. It's all going to be delicious yet kind to teeth.
