Hello

Bloody top gig!

Thanks for the photos and stuff Wayne; love that review too, couldn’t have written better myself, (except I prefer Steps to Led Zeppelin).

Ten things I learnt on Monday night:

1) Dingwalls has no air conditioning worth mentioning; and doesn’t seem to sell draft cider; but the sound is very good and there’s no silly barrier at the front of the stage.
2) I can still jump up and down all the way through True Confessions; my legs still l hurt.
3) No one has a clue how to dance to Wednesday Week.
4) I really do want to be a Male Model.
5) For some weird reason I can’t wait for Saturday.
6) The Undertones are responsible for the worldwide cost of oil.
7) Paul needs glasses; alternatively, the band could try producing the set-list on non-glossy paper and with a strong contrast such as black print on yellow or white paper; and use a sans serif font such as Arial at 14 point size to type it out.
8) The Undertones cannot apparently control the weather through the power of song titles alone.
9) I have sorted out the priorities in my life; I seem to have learnt the words to all the songs without trying, yet after over two years I can’t remember my car registration number or home phone number.
10) I go see a lot of bands; it’s always good to be able to double check from time to time that The Undertones really are the best live band out there. I think I’d like to check more often though, just to be sure I’m being impartial.

Cheers for the pics lads.

Quite a trip from Aberdeen but well worthwhile.

Anyone got a copy of the setlist? (Why does one always get a memory blank on this subject?)

Great to see everyone at the gig. Only just recovered. Not pogoed all the way through a whole set since I was a teenager. Got out of hospital yesterday!!!!!!! Only joking. The fitness regime must be working. What a fantastic event. I'm only sorry for those who missed it. Roll on the next one.
