The Chords and 1 Undertone (Brighton 2010)

Postby Sire » Thu Dec 09, 2010 2:30 am

Went to see THE CHORDS this year for their re-union (and farewell) tour.
They were awesome.

I have just been browsing You Tube and came across an awesome video.

One venue on the recent tour was Brighton.
After playing their Final number of the night "British Way Of Life" Damian O'Neill was suddenly welcomed on stage and they all performed an impromptu rendition of "Teenage Kicks" together. And does not sound bad at all....

see the clip here....

THE CHORDS remain one of the greatest live bands.

I caught them at The Garage just prior to the Brighton gig and they were incredible.

The bands were/are obviously great mates.

What chances of Chris Pope joining the undertones on stage at the Garage in april for a rendition of Maybe tomorrow or British Way of Life. Wouldn;t mind betting Chris will be there!!
